Looking for an air compressor unloader online?  Welcome to AirCompressorUnloader.com – your source for all your needs for air compressors.

The definition for an air compressor unloader is:

“A device for control of air volume flowing through an air compressor.”

If the unloader valve is not working properly, your air compressor will not work.  Or even worse, it could explode.

When the unloader valve is working right, you’ll hear it let out a “psssssschhhhhht” when it is letting the air escape.  That means that the air compressor is working correctly.  The valve is very important to the air compressor and the receiver.  It is part of the switch pressure assembly and most of the time the unloader valve should open when the air in the receivers get to the set level.

Compressed air that is in the compressor chamber will be let out into the atmosphere to stop the pressure from altering the start of the motor when the pressure switch needs more air again.  Our bodies work much the same way when we are doing sit ups.  We sometimes cross our arms in front of us to hold our chest, or maybe held a weight across it.  What we are doing is increasing the pressure on our chest and muscles, and that way the muscles have to work harder to do the sit up.  The air compressor valve works much the same way.

An air compressor has been thought of as the most important energy source, but they are also the largest part of expenses for the person needing one.  Companies use a large part of their budget to buy one and maintain one.  They are available in different horse-powers.  The more common are a three-quarters or bigger.  They can have their air tanks to 80-gallons.  The makes and models are abundant.  The features of air compressors vary widely depending on what the air compressor is being used for.

Every air compressor must display a name plate that includes the product’s certified label.  It also must have an air safety release valve.  This allows the air to escape if the pressure in the tank goes over the maximum level.  This has a definite level and cannot be allowed to go over that.  The instructions will explain what that pressure level is.  This makes sure that accidents are not caused by too much pressure and so the air compressor does not explode.

Another important safety issue is that every air compressor has to be certified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).  As mentioned above, every certified air compressor has an air safety release valve so it will not explode.  The air compressor also will include a cord that can be pulled if the pressure does get too high.  The ASME also certifies that the valves are not corrupted or clogged up which is also another very important safety issue.

Always buy an air compressor by the quality, not the cost of the air compressor.  Making sure that you check all the safety concerns, not just the price of the machine.  That is why you should always buy certified compressors by the ASME.  They have gone through testing and will have a label stating that the unit has gone through quality testing.  Please also be aware that not all units will have the label certifying them with the ASME label.  For your safety and safety of everyone around the air compressor, it is better to make sure that you air compressor is working properly.  That is why you should always have an extra air compressor unloader as a spare around the workplace.  It will save you from losing some days of work without being able to use your compressor.

There are also portable air compressors that are in use by contractors as an example.  The portable kind makes them such a necessary part of any on the job sites.  They are much easier to use because of them being portable.  They make jobs so much easier, especially for the contractors who build housing developments.  They are lightweight compared to the large commercial/industrial air compressors.

Again, please make sure that when you buy your air compressor, portable or commercial, that it has the label affixed to it saying that it is certified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the unloader valve is working properly.  It is illegal in most states that if you buy or sell air compressors and they are not certified by the ASME, it is definitely illegal.  So make sure that they are certified and have the ASME label.
